Joe cancer update

Joe has an appointment to schedule his spinal surgery tomorrow afternoon. His oncologist called today and said that the PET scan showed three cancer sites. Some cancer left around the area where they took out the left node, some in the right armpit lymph node and, of course, the tumor in his (t7, burst through to spinal canal but not into the cord) vertebrae.
We consider this good news as they didn't find anything on any of his other organs. It looks like the spinal surgery and subsequent radiation, chemo and or immuno therapy are the scary things we have to look forward to with this.
